The Slate (2024)

A struggling actress attempts to film a self-tape.

I filmed this short as realistically as possible, to achieve a cinema verité aspect of the New Wave filmmakers of a bygone era. There is simple beauty and unpleasant voyeurism to the film which is experimental and electric.

Pay Deferred (2025)

Three female extras fight to get a speaking part on the set of a horror movie.

During turbulent times, I chose to write, direct, and produce a madcap comedy that skewers the entertainment industry and pokes fun not only of the people that inhabit it, but myself as well.

To capture the excitement, and the ever changing, ever moving film industry, I filmed nearly the entire project on dollies. I used a large lens that was typical of New Hollywood directors like Scorsese- only instead of dramatically exposing the underbelly of New York crime families, I comedically expose the underbelly of desperate Hollywood actors.

The China Doll (2025)

After receiving a fragile china doll, a beautiful young woman slowly loses her grip on reality.

This short will be my love letter to silent, black & white film. it is both a psychological portrait and a horror, inspired by Bunuel’s harsh visual contradictions and Fritz Lang’s moody expressionism. Highly personal, this film is about both my own insecurities as a woman, and the lack of control I have over my own self esteem and viewpoint of others.
